For Universities Attention

Some Universities are the custodians of monitoring the courses for colleges be it academic or Engineering or Technical. They prescribe the norms for the infrastructure of a College, Courses to be offered and Syllabus for the same, stipulate methods for selection of lecturers/Professors and also students for various courses.

So in all practical terms, some college run without adhering to the norms of the Universities to which they are affiliated.

As such, Universities/Colleges have more responsibilities to ensure that their ideologies and norms are put into practical terms by the colleges. After any students takes up a course of his choice and studies through a college. What for ? His ultimate aim is to get a good employment and a lucrative salary. But in reality, what happens is that many graduates in any field wander for want of proper job. Why Industries and Companies which record mushroom growth in the field everyday recruit all the successful and good scoring students?

The inherent problem lies here. The syllabus confines only to the theoretical aspect of knowledge which is not sufficient for getting a good placement despite highest scoring. The syllabus must also insist on practical /training classes and a built -in training course as compulsory for students to have on - the - job training and through practical knowledge.

Visit to industries/ Companies and also practical training courses for a particular period spread over with in the total duration of the degree course must be made mandatory to award the certificate for completion of the course.

In the process, Colleges will be obligated to fulfill their role of responsibilities, and students will be benefited as eligible persons for good job placement & the notion as a whole will flourish in its industrial growth.

It is reasonably hoped that Universities/Colleges will give serious thought to the above lines of SUGGESTION for appropriate action!

Students Attention

Students completing their technical qualification like BE/B.Tech/Diploma with high marks do accept jobs, only on lucrative remuneration. This is a wrong concept.

They must accept any job whole heartedly, work sincerely with the total involvement and dedication and put in their full efforts to become thoroughly expertise in the field. May be the salary is not commensurating with their work & expectations. Does not matter.

They should make up their mind and treat this period (where only stipends are payable) for a better exposure and experience. On completion of a reasonable period, they will be the right people the big industries & companies looking for a higher placement with attractive pay pockets coupled with all perks and comforts.

Such candidates can also have more confidence in the field of their expertise and prove their selection to climb up the ladder of their profession more rapidly than others with name and fame.Will the students bears this in mind and fit-in themselves in any assignment that comes in their way
